Win one of the world’s top wines worth £900 for a fiver

Everyone’s a winner in the Laithwaites Wine Annual Lucky Dip. Back by popular demand Laithwaites are hosting this unmissable event for any wine lover at their flagship store, The Arch at London Bridge.

Join them on Saturday 26 March 2011, but be sure to get there early as it was a sell-out event last year.

For one-day only, 500 bottles of Laithwaites wines go into a £5 Lucky Dip. The “dip” will include bottles of some of the world’s finest wines – including Château Lafite-Rothschild 1er Cru Classé Pauillac 1983 worth £900, Chateau Margaux 2006 – £360 and Chateau d‟Yquem 2006 worth £195.

All you need to do is get down to The Arch, London Bridge – in the Vinopolis complex – and buy a ticket. Tickets go on sale from 10am on the day.

And even if your ticket doesn’t win you a top prize you still get more than your money’s worth. Laithwaites promises that every bottle in the “dip” will be worth more than the cost of your £5 Lucky Dip ticket.

“My advice is get there early,” said Justin Howard-Sneyd MW, Laithwaites Global Wine Director. “We did a Lucky Dip for the first time last year and people were queuing round the block to get in and buy their tickets. You could say, the chance to own a £900 bottle of wine for a fiver is as rare as the wine itself.
